Joaquín has spent twenty years in airline partnerships and customer experience, first at Aeroméxico and then at the SkyTeam alliance in Amsterdam. At Aeroméxico he progressed from international commercial operations to Director of Strategic Partnerships, where he was part of the alliance team governing the Aeroméxico and Delta Joint Cooperation Agreement and negotiated and activated more than 13 codeshare and interline agreements across four continents. At SkyTeam he managed the relationship between the alliance and its member airlines, led the onboarding of new members, and ran alliance wide customer programs such as SkyTransfer.
His work sits where commercial agreements meet daily operations: making sure that what partners sign actually works for passengers at the airport, in the reservation systems and in the revenue accounts. Based in Rotterdam, he brings a working network across SkyTeam member airlines and a practical, detail oriented approach to partnership and customer experience projects.
